Anxiety 101 is a skills group focused on learning about your experience with anxiety and tools to manage your thoughts and emotions.
This group will use the CBT model to introduce the basic concepts and skills of CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) which is a short-term, evidence-based treatment for many problems, including anxiety. It is based on the idea that thoughts (cognitions) and behaviors affect the way we feel.
Evidence-Based Anxiety Therapy Groups
Anxiety 101 is a 6-session online group therapy program for small groups of adults (aged 18+) with mild to moderate anxiety using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Groups are a maximum size of 12 and provide people with support, encouragement, and tools to help them cope better.

- How to manage anxiety symptoms using mindfulness tools
- Behavioural strategies to help reorient thinking, take action, and make lasting positive change
- CBT strategies to learn about how thoughts can cause our mood to shift
